After a thrilling debut on Tin Can Hill, the Territorial Mountain Bike Championship Series kept the wheels turning with Race #2 on Friday, May 30, 2025. Hosted at the Yellowknife Ski Club, this short-track style race challenged riders with technical climbs, tight corners, and an energetic mass-start format.
With the sun peeking through and the trails in great shape, the atmosphere was buzzing—thanks to passionate volunteers, enthusiastic racers, and the incredible support of the local sport community.
“It is amazing to see the cycling family come together—showing up for the races, cheering for each other, and making it all happen. The volunteers are wonderful. The Ski Club opened its home to us. It’s great to see the sport world coming together to provide opportunities for our youth to become the best version of themselves.” — Thorsten Gohl, Cycling NWT
