One of Yellowknife’s favourite summer traditions is back. The 20th Annual Old Town Ramble & Ride will take place from July 31 to August 2, celebrating the unique culture, history, music, art, and community spirit of Old Town.
Cyclists of all ages are invited to take part in the Annual Bike Parade on Saturday, August 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to decorate their bikes, trikes, scooters, skateboards, or strollers before riding together from Latham Island Park through Old Town, finishing at Old Town Bike Works. The parade is open to everyone, with adult guides accompanying the route to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Cycling NWT encourages everyone to get involved, celebrate active transportation, and enjoy a weekend that showcases the best of Yellowknife’s cycling community. Whether you are riding in the parade or simply taking in the festivities, the Old Town Ramble & Ride is a wonderful opportunity to experience the joy of cycling together.
