The Road We Ride Was Paved by Sacrifice.
Each November 11, we pause, not to stop moving, but to move with intention. To remember those who gave their lives in service, so that we might ride in peace and freedom.
At Cycling NWT, we reflect on how cycling teaches focus, resilience, and community values that echo the legacy of those we honour today. We ride for joy, health, and connection. But on this day, we also ride in remembrance.
Whether it’s the steady rhythm of pedals on gravel, the quiet breath in cool autumn air, or the feeling of wind across your face, we invite you to take a moment. Let that motion become a tribute.
To the generations before us who gave everything, and to the youth now carrying the torch of strength and purpose, we remember. Lest we forget.
