The 2025 Yellowknife Fatbike Race Series kicked off on Sunday, November 9 with clear skies and smiling riders. Hosted at Tin Can Hill, the first event saw racers take on a scenic and technical 3.5 km loop, with options to ride one or two laps.
Chris Bruckner led the Open Male division with a strong finish of 46:49, followed by Jacob Shank and Greg Krysko. In the U15 Male category, Nicholas McDonald completed a solid single-lap ride in 34:15.
Thank you to all the riders, volunteers, and supporters who made the opening race a success. We’re already looking forward to Race #2 on Sunday, November 16!
