The Territorial Championship Road Race Series is back on the pavement with Event #3 taking place on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Riders will gather at the Prospector Trail Scenic Viewpoint, just outside Yellowknife, for a 55-kilometre challenge that offers both beauty and intensity.
This race follows a scenic out-and-back route along Prelude Lake Road. Cyclists will enjoy a neutral (no-drop) ride until the final 7 km, creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere to start. But don’t be fooled by the camaraderie, things shift gears fast after the Yellowknife River Bridge, designated as the official “Attack Point”. From there, it’s game on until the finish line.

The route features:
- Start/Finish at Prospector Trail Scenic Viewpoint
- Turnaround at Prelude Lake Road
- A total of 55 km of winding roads through pristine boreal terrain
- Strategic challenge: Final 7 km open for full race pace
Whether you’re aiming for a podium finish or just out to test your limits with the best riders in the North, this event is for you. The Road Race Series is about community, effort, and the joy of riding together, with a little competitive fire sprinkled in.
Start Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Prospector Trail Scenic Viewpoint (Highway 4)
